Some changes as of today -

1. The forum is open for posting to Young Cats and above

2. You may add pictures to posts. Keep it within reason, is all we ask.

3. One thread per week for eligible members (instead of one per month) - no limits to the number of posts.

4. Premium members can post as many threads as they want, again, within reason and without spamming the forum.

** End Edit

Do you have to be a paying member to place an add? I tried to place one and it would not let me. From how I read it anyone could place one add for free a month and paying members could place one free add a week. Thank you.

You have to be an alpha cat, which is 300 posts (covered) but you also have to have 90 days membership which you will have on Jan 30th

Are the ads deleted periodically? The ones I posted are both gone.

Well, that's really, really odd. I can see 10 threads -- the most recent is Oct 10 -- Pat & Alix "Plain Brown Tabby .... " There's nothing older than that. Are you sure you're not looking at a cached page?

Up at top of the page, under the header, click on "User CP." Then click on "Edit Options." Then go down to "Thread Display Options," and find the "Thread Age Cut Off." You can adjust it to see more messages.

That's what it was, all right. Still funny, though, as it was set on forum default, whereas I'm pretty sure I had it originally set on all threads. So that's why I didn't think of it. Maybe it's just my memory playing tricks again? But now I remember having looked further back than two months in other threads with no problem. Changing skin style shouldn't affect those CP settings, should it? I switched to a different skin recently.

I am trying to post an ad, but I am not able to... It says I do not have permission, even though I am an adult cat...
Can you please help?

Adult cats also need to have 30 days of membership:

You should be able to start a thread in just a few days.
