Well I really like the partyware, I think she'll love it.
And a slumber party is perfect for that age group too. Well, you don't plan on watching ALL of those movies I hope?? You're just going to let them choose?

Also, I'd say don't go too overboard with a 'theme' for the party, she's probably growing out of that stage if she's typical for her age. I know you don't mean clowns and playing dress-up & stuff, but usually at that age they like time to themselves and their friends, and to entertain themselves and talk, you know? Soooo...unless your daughter says it's okay, IMO you should try not to control and plan out every second of the party.

Ummmm some party games could be Twister, if you have it--but instead of saying "right hand, left hand, right foot, left foot", you could say "paw" instead of hand or foot!

Another fun cat-themed game might be something like putting some cereal that somewhat resembles catfood a little bit, like Cocoa Puffs or something, in paper bowls and also a paper bowl with a small amount of water in it. And give each girl a set of these 'cat dishes', put the food & water down on the floor (might be a good idea to do it in the kitchen!) and they have to eat it without using their hands or anything, just their mouths, like kitties haha. The point would be to see who finishes that fastest, whoever does is the Top Cat!!

Your food plan and everything else sounds great, I'm sure she'll have fun, you're an awesome mom to do a slumber party for her!!!!! Good luck with it, and I wish her a Happy Birthday...in advance.

What about her setting the theme? Or is she a cat lover as well? I would think involving her in planning this party would make her feel quite grown up.

I think a cat-themed party would be fun... but make sure your daughter wants cats too! Just cause I remember when I was ten and eleven and my parents had NO IDEA how I would have themed a party of my choice. Of course, my parents never planned a slumber party for me...

I think your idea is awesome... good luck and happy birthday to your daughter!

Ok well first...I HAVE to know if you have a pinata!! You gotta have a cat pinata.

I, as well, go overboard with the party supplies. Way too much money overboard, and am also told I should probably do that for aliving. heh. So anyway, Do you have a pinata? We can go from there, because I'm checking up more things for your party, like cat movies, and such.

I had a slumber party for my 11th birthday and it was so much fun! I had 7 girls over.
I got a board game from one of my friends and we just played the whole night away, then we got some movies, i cant even remember now, but we watched those too, then in the morning we made a huge sweet brekky and then they went home

Anyways I loved that movie!

I think it would be great for the party.
