Just to let you all know my Charcoal girl (Metallic Miss)and Harley Red mated several times a couple of weeks ago. Im so happy to finally be able to see what she will produce. She's such a unique color and pattern.
lets hope all goes well for her. It's the first time for both her and the stud! It helped because I kept them in together since they were both around 3 months old. They really like eachother since they grew up with eachother from 3 months of age =0)

Awww, how exciting!!! I hope you will share pictures!! The excitement of waiting....Our Lucy is 4 1/2 weeks along, we are so excited to see her babies!! My daughter has decided she would really like to show her own kitten/cat, so we are just waiting for the purrfect kitten for her. Lucy is one of her favorites, and we hope she will have "Duchess" All of our furbabies have Disney names.

I hope that Metallic Miss and Harley Red have beautiful, healthy babies, and last but not least, Congratulations!!

My 12 yro daughter wants to do the same thing. She even wanted to buy a kitten from me-lol
I am going to let her keep and show one too eventually. Can she show on her own at that age?

Oh all of this just makes me want to hurry things along and have babies again ... *sigh* ... it is still too soon yet, but I think Lexus will be ready again sometime late this month or early next - you guys will just be having your babies when Lexus and Tonka are making theirs! *grin*

Awww, I bet she will be so excited when the day comes. My daughter is 8, and I am still trying to figure out if she is totally ready. Here is a link to CFA's junior showmanship. http://kids.cfa.org/js.html They have an area of the website that is just for kids, that your daughter may like as well. The information that I could find for TICA is this site. http://www.justcats.org/TICAJA/TICAJuniorAchievers.html
My daughter wants a pattern that is accepted by TICA, and not CFA so we are going to start learning more about TICA's junior rules.
My question, is not if she can take the kitten or cat up to the ring, but she will need help with the bathing and grooming, and if it is still fair that a bit older child may be doing all the grooming themself. The main thing is for her to be out there having fun and learning, but she does that at the shows with me already, and I make sure she feels apart of showing. I guess when the purrfect kitten comes along we will decide if we will show together a bit longer or let her do things on her own.
Let us know when your daughter begins showing!!
Purrs,
Stormi

thanks for the links! I'll have to look at those. My daugter went to the show with me and loved it. made instant friends with another girl.
She also wants to go with a breeder frined of mine so she can learn more. Shoot i'll probably have her showing for me so I won't have to do it eventually!! LOL

I know, every litter is so exciting! Especially when you don't have a clue what your going to get as far as colors/patterns and quality.
I wanted my cats to breed now because I wanted to have kittens off season.
Just so happen they decided they were ready now so that's great for me!
