Wow where did you read that? I have 1000mg capsules and I split it up over several days as I thought they need much less. As long as they are capsules you can put about half the capsule in at a time which is what I do.

Ok I just looked at your link and its tablets. Try to find capsules this way you can easily mix it into the food. I can't remember where I got mine...

I just thought I would crush them and mix them into the food.

Well since I think 50mg is the right dose can you crush and divide a tablet into that dose?? >??

50mg is the correct dose? I found a supplement that has 80mg in it... so I could just feed that just as well [it has other things in it too]. I just read somewhere that they needed 500-1000mgs.

The lower dose is good. Have you looked into Wysong Call Of The Wild? It has taurine in it and has some great feline supplements more for a raw food diet though (is that what you are doing??). Anyway it supplements the organ meats among other things. If the one you found of 80mg has good ingrediants then it might be good but be careful of human formulations as some things good for us isn't good for them. That dosing sounds much better though.

The vitamin I found was for cats that had the 80mgs of Taurine.

I can't give him Call of The Wild because it has too many ingredients and could cause my cat to have an allergic reaction. I am going to put him on a canned meat diet, that has nothing but the meat in it. Which is why I need a multi-vitamin, as well as a taurine supplement so he has all the nutrition he needs.
