speed dating vibes!

well, it was certainly quite a night...

it was almost as if they had activley tried to recruit the uglisest, most socially enept men on the planet and herd them all together in one room...

here are a few highlights from my night...

there was the guy who pretended he worked there so we all sat at his table. we believed him for a good ten minutes and nearly missed out on our dates!

the guy who didnt seem to get the concept of speed dating and sat at any table he wished, in any order.

the guy who spoke no english

the guy who went to the toilet on our 'date' and left me standing outside

the one who smelt my hair

the one who twitched violently

there were many, many more stories but i cant remember them right now!

It was such a funny night though and really worth going. I went with three friends so there was no chance that we were going to take it seriously anyway!

I was actually quite shocked that as weird as the men were the girls were all gorgeous! they were well dressed, beautiful and all really nice. During the breaks we all got together and laughed at the men and compared notes. The guys must have been spoilt for choice.

I have just entered my 'ticks' on the online database and later in the day will be able to see who wants to see me again. If i dont at least get the guy who spoke no english i am going to cry!

Oh well, at least you had a good time and can laugh about it! Like you said, it's not like you're out there looking for "The One". Glad you had a good time! Boy, those sound like some interesting men, wonder why they're still single?

Oh geez, I want to go, even if it is just for a very funny story to tell!

There was two nice ones there but they got off with (kissed) two girls, therfore ruining theirs chances with the other 19 women..

It was a really funny night, i really reccomend you all go! Like Deb said, just for the funny stories!

thats really nice that you've managed to maintain a good relationship despite the break up.

It also goes to show that not all men forget about their families and responsabilities when a relationship ends.

It was a nightmare at the time! We couldnt stop laughing at each other.

The other girls were passing notes round warning people about the men coming up...

I might stay in touch with a few of them as friends but there was no one i was interested in.
