I was wondering if there is a way to make gravy that is good for Twitch(& Lily, of course
)? Twitch prefers the Eukanuba & Nutro pouches over Eagle Pack, Merrick, Felidea, etc. However, when I open a Nutro pouch & pour the gravy over Eagle Pack, she will eat the Eagle Pack.

Can I give Twitch Swanson's Chicken Broth?

My goal is to make gravy or other yummy liquids that Twitch likes & use them to get her to eat some different canned foods. I hope to get her to eat Eagle Pack & Merrick more & Eukanuba less.

I purchsed a bottle of Salmon flavored Vita Gravy & boy did they hate that. I don't know if it is even worth paying money for a bottle of the Chicken flavor to try. Twitch does like the Whiskas Catmilk, but not when you put it on her food. She will drink some seperately, but prefers the gravy off of canned/pouch food to Catmilk. She loves Tuna, but lives for Pink Salmon. There isn't much liquid on that & when I pour water over it she knows. She's getting too smart for all of my little tricks!
I tried putting water on her can of Merrick & Eagle Pack, but she didn't like that either.

Any other suggestions?

The only problem with making gravy is you have to use flour or corn starch. If you don't mind using those item's then It should be easy to make gravy from canned broth, but will the kitties eat it, that's the trick! Wish I had a good answer for you. Good luck with the menu!

I wouldn't use thickener, just use straight broth, but be aware that broth all the time is fattening so don't overdo and let Twitch become obese.

I didn't know that. I looked at broth tonight, but stupidly went grocery shopping before I went to Kmart to go shopping for the HS. I didn't have much time to look, so I will look tomorrow when I take myself shopping.
