Can I have a few small good vibes?

I don't want to take the vibes away from some of our members that really need them right now, but can you send a few small ones to Abby? We have her annual exam and vaccines in a little over an hour. She is the picture of health and I believe she has doubled in size in the past year. The vet should be proud of her. However, my Abby is a skittish little scaredy cat who will be terrified until she is back home. She continues to come out of her shell more and more, and unfortunately this will be a minor setback. Can you send a few calming vibes to my little girl?

Thanks!

Sending lots of calming vibes to pretty Abby (and her worried meowmy). I'm sure she'll come through it just fine.

I am sending lots of calming vibes, purrs & cuddles to sweet Abby.
When you get home...let us know the good news about her checkup.
Be brave Abby. You will be home before you know it.

Abby is now relaxing in her basement hideaway. She is in perfect health and has doubled her weight to 9 lbs. I wish I could say she was a big brave girl, but that's not the case. Twice she actually jumped on my shoulders (she NEVER does this) and stayed up there shaking. Both the vet tech and the vet found it easy to check her because she was "scared stiff". My poor little girl.

I've always been happy with my vet - I will never forget how much they did for Molly at the end, plus they are a "cats only" practice. Thanks to TCS, I was paying extra attention when they were giving her vaccines today. I am happy to report her Distemper was intranasal, and her 3 year rabies shot was given in her back leg.

Good vibes coming Abby's way. My poor "Babie kitty" hates the vet. I told the vet he just wasn't fun. The only time we go out is for something not nice. What cat would like that?

I wish I could give your kitty some of my Jordan's attitude when he goes to the vet. He's scared, but with him it comes out in agression. I've never seen it, but I'm sure his chart says he's fractous (Sp?) and I don't blame them. He's never bitten, but he's taken a few good swipes at the vet techs.

Ahhh Abby...congratulations on your excellent health.

Abby, you were such a good girl during the scary visit to the vet's! Jamie is never good, but very aggressive, though he also likes to be "treated" on my shoulders (he no longer fits on one).

Just saw this, I am glad Abby is well . My girls don't do well at the vet either. You have to practically pry Jazz out of the carrier with a crow bar and Maggie May always poops in the carrier ! Luckily my vet and vet techs are always great with both of my girls .

Awww...it's all over now, Abby sweetheart. At least she isn't a terror to the vet or tech and they can get her done quickly. Relax now, Abby! You don't have to go back for awhile now!

I'm so glad to hear Abby is well. Sounds like she handles vet visits the same as Peter. He's known as the "petrified cat" because he goes so stiff.
