We just got a kitten this last December and he likes to climb into my arms lick my face then go to sleep , leaving me with only 1 hand to type/ surf with , is this normal? he is named Oreo cause he's black & white

well, he "Announces" when he uses the kitty-litter... or is hungry... or wants to play... i thought only oriental cats were talky! LOL

he's black with white paws &chest, short hair. i don't think he is a breed, is he?

Probably not, but the reason I ask, is that if he's a certain breed or mixed with a certain breed, he could talk more. Lots of breeds vocalize a lot.

Mine is a non specific breed too ( calico and she is always by my side. I adore it.

Welcome to TCS. Sounds like he is a tuxedo cat...very cute. Some cats are just more "talkative" than others. Where did you get your kitten?

on craigslist.com we still need to get his shots and get him fixed but he's a doll.

oh yes, perfectly normal . what i do when mithril does this is to open up the onscreen keyboard. he's draped across my lap right now, hence the lack of capitals .
