I've been trying Napolean on Evanger's 100% Pheasant, and so far he's doing well. I've decided, before going RAW [my last resort] to see about putting him on an all meat diet, using Evanger's Game Meats. There is nothing in them for him to be allergic to. I can switch it around between the different kinds, and he should be fine.

However, I would have to supplement it with a kibble that has the nutrients he needs, or a supplement. Kibble would be fine, except, all I know is that he's allergic to peas [so far]. He still scratches on z/d, and z/d gives him diarrhea.

Supplement wise, I looked into Wysongs supplements, the problem is that it has so many ingredients he could have an allergic reaction to the supplement alone. I'm more or less looking for a bitamin supplement, with all of the vitamins he needs, not so much actual veggies and meats, only because he could be allergic to them.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

would the game meats be cooked? I wouldn't recommend you put your cat on an all meat-cooked diet. If the meat is cooked there are not nearly enough nutrients left for your cat. It would be almost impossible to know what /how much suppliments your cat would need to make up for what he's not getting.
If you want to put your cat on an all meat diet-go straight into raw (with bones). If you give him the raw muscle meat all you'll need to make sure of is that he also has the raw bones and liver and his diet will be complete and you won't need to suppliment at all. If you wanted to do any suppliemts with the raw just get him some taurine from Revival or another pet supply place that has taurine suppliments for cats.

The game meats are a canned game meat, so they are probably cooked. Evanger's Pheasant is this:

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS:
CRUDE PROTEIN MIN. 11.0%
CRUDE FAT MIN. 5.0%
CRUDE FIBER MAX 1.5%
MOISTURE 78.0%

I can't quite go into RAW because he could be allergic to several different things. I do not have the time or money to try different proteins at this point in time. It's alot easier getting the canned meats, and switching them around [they have different kinds]. Evanger's is actually for dogs, but alot of cat people I have talked to feed it. However, they feed a complete cereal along with it to balance the nutrients.

Thanks for the info, but I am going to talk to the gal that orders things at the clinic and see if I can get a taurine supplement, and a vitamin supplement. I'm also going to talk to my vet and see what he thinks I could use to supplement.

Thanks for the info.

You ought to join holisticat.com as they mainly feed raw but would know about cooked diets too and probably Evangers.
