I don't know where this thread belongs...
My two 1/2 yr old kittens used to be able to go outside now and then, which they loved. Now we are wondering if we should try to make them inside-only cats, but wondering how difficult this will be. Since they remember the outside at this point, and loving it, they do try to get out and will sometimes make it. We have kept them inside for the very most part lately due to the mud in this in-between weather we have. But they still want out.
If we keep them inside only from now on, as much as possible, do they forget that they used to be able to go outside? Or will they always try to escape out?
They are spayed now, so they can't reproduce now, at least.
