Does anyone cat growl at their toys when they are playing with them? I have a kitty who does that.

My kitties growls at thier toys when they are REALLY into the playing. It's like watching the national geographic channel. lol.

They just really get into playing and i think get exited.

Mine all growl when they have something thast they want to keep, a toy or a piece of food. They growl at it and they growl at others to keep away. A 'This is MINE' sound.

Our newest addition, Casey, growls when he's playing with his toys. It is so cute to see him with a bright purple mouse in his mouth growling up a storm!
Our other cat, Charlie, doesn't do this at all. He also seems confused when Casey growls. Just shows you how different their purr-sonalities can be.

Yes, my kitty Blue (1 1/2) also growls with certain toys. His sister Samantha also did this, but only when playing with a feather attachment to an interactive toy. None of the other kitties seem to mind him in the least when he is doing this, so they must understand it's just play!? (Blue is the poor boy who is now the object of agression from his previous littermates and housemates--see 12/31/05 sudden agression among former friends).
