Kitten eats everything

Darci, my 9 month old kittens eats everything she can get her teeth on. I am forever taking things from her. We had a scare last month when she ate a corn husk. I have to admit as a working woman, I am not the best housekeeper but I am not that bad and I do vacumm a couple times a week. Todayshe was playing with her feather toy right in front of me and in a second she had pulled a feather out and started to eat it. I think I got it but she has also jumped on my dresser and gotten an earring, jumped on the bathroom counter and gotten into the toothpaste and worst thing was I lost a crown on a bit-o-honey put it on my dresser and a second later she goes after it. I have gotten everything I have seen her get back but I worry what she gets when I do not see her.

Is this a sign of her not getting enough food (she is healthy and seems to eat well)? Will this behavior stop? I am not worried about anything but her health. Her brother doesn't eat anything but his food and he is the big boy.

Kittens do this- I call them minature hoovers sometimes, the way they walk around investigating every object they can.

Lily used to do this just like Darci. She tried her darndest to eat a marble once. I got mean. I bought Bitter Apple spray. I sprayed several objects I knew she would like to eat, but were big enough she couldn't swallow them. I coated them with bitter apple & layed them on the living room floor. She only picked up one, but now she is better about eating things off the floor. When she does eat something off the floor, I take it from her mouth & give her a bite of dry food. It does help deter her over to her food bowl.

Thanks Natalie, it is so hard tgo get whatever she has in her mouth away from her. She moves fast, I do have bitter apple so I may try that.
