I would think it's okay, don't see what could be wrong with it unless they have rabies or somethin'??
I give my Sweetie & Precious kissies on the mouth occasionally, more often on the cheeks, head..cute pink li'l nosies
: Sometimes even on their paws! On the top, though, not the pads, which they use to step in the litterbox, dirt, who knows where blech. But anyways, yes I kiss my kitties all the time.

But I've always wondered....Why do we kiss our cats so much? Wouldn't it be annoying to them? Don't you think it's kind of uhh how do I put this-
weird? I just don't get it. I guess they're just so lovable and sweet
, and so furry and soft and kissable!

I kiss my kitties on the lips. Blueberry actually will come up to my pillow and push her lips against mine, without licking! It is the sweetest thing. It is just like she is trying to kiss me. When I kiss Hobbs he grimaces slightly and bares it, and then shakes his head like a little child who doesnt want to be loved up by the parent. It is cute.
He would much rather I kiss him on the bridge of his nose, which always puts him right to sleep.

Yeah, I do it all the time, when they'll let me. It's easier with the dogs - I kiss them on the nose ALL the time, lots of kisses, constantly. I think it annoys them but they put up with it stoically for Mum, cos they're such good babies.

And then of course I see one of them licking the other one's butt and think, `I've gotta stop doing that'...but of course I never do. They give us kisses too, regularly, little licks on the face that are just heart-melting!

I was wondering the same thing.....

I just know that when Im talking to them I see their cute little faces and just wanna give em' a smoocher!!

When I see them licking each others' butts' I think the same thing!!
But I have mouth wash!!!


Once Garfield woke me up by licking the "sleep" from my eyes!!!
It hurt sooo bad... but I just let him finish.
I knew he was just trying to "help" me out.

And besides, I was HONORED that he
s me enough to clean me like a cat.


And Lilo, I taught her along time ago to kiss me. Lilo, as many of you have heard me say before, is NOT a lovey girl. I dont dare kiss her or love on her unless she starts it.

But when she wants a treat.... BOY then its VERY DIFFERENT.

If I hold her favorite treat in my hand she will try to take it, of course, but I pull it back and tell her a firm NO. Then I tell her meowmy wants a "Kissy Kiss". So she looks at me with this mean face, but leans in and smooches me (very quickly I might add) then grabs the treat out of my hand. The kissing me and grabbing the treat out of my hand part usually takes all but 1/2 a second
But hey... a meowmys gotta do what shes gotta do for a kiss from her favorite girl!!


Now for Petals... she will kiss me but I have to hold her head with both hands and pull her head to mine.....

I kiss my Bob and I kiss my Gumbeaux and Gypsey from time to time.... I have even taught my Zu-Zu to give me kissies!!

My cat Lucy kisses me every night (and my husband too). Sometimes she'll give us a kiss by herself, other times I just say "Give's a Kiss Lucy" and she'll oblige. None of us will go to sleep at night until she's given us all a kiss (and a cuddle and she loves being fussed and cuddled). When she was very ill recently and had to stay in the vets for 4 days, we tossed and turned all night and couldn't sleep properly. Now that she's almost fully recovered, we're all sleeping much better now

Of course I kiss Loki on the lips - face it as kids we had all kinds of stuff in our mouths and we are still alive aren't we!!!

I kiss Tia all the time and a when I had Pretty a morning was never complete until she had her kiss one the nose.

I don't know why we like to kiss our kitties, but it's about the same as when holding a baby. Almost impossible to resist giving them sweet kisses.

Java will do this - lift her nose for a kiss, but the others don't. i kiss them, but usually not on the mouth 'cause they don't like it! usually Pixel & Cable get 'top of the head' kisses.
