Ricearoniee is about 8 months old, and neutered, His bestfriend is my mothers cat, Konnor. he is about 7 months old and not neutered. He comes to visit and play with rice nearly everyday ( I watch him for my mother )
Up until recently they got along GREAT.
Sometimes they played a little too rough, but nothing too serious.

Recently Konnor has started Chasing Rice, mounting him and biting the back of his neck.
This is ALL he wants to do.
Rice still wants to play, but konnor is only interested in Mounting him.
He does this quite aggressively.
He drew blood yesterday, so I have them seperated until mom picks him up.

Is this something that will pass? or is Rice going to loose his buddy?

Konnor is scheduled for a neuter next month.

Rice should lose his buddy until Konner is neutered and for about a month afterwards, I'm afraid. A young, sexually-mature male may do real harm to a young neuter and to avoid this, you may very well want to keep them separated until all this passes.
