So Chloe has been with me for 3 weeks now. My roommate and I have decided though that she's not 100% cat. She's more like a dog/cat/monkey/baby mix. Why? Well, she occassionally barks when she gets really excited, follows you around like a puppy and plays more like a puppy too. She also has started climbing - mostly up the brick fireplace - and sometimes seems to "swing" from the top of a chair. As for the baby part, she LOVES to be held like a baby (upside down and curled up in your arms and always with one paw on the boobs!) and to be patted (especially on the lower back/bottom) or walked or rocked. If you do that to her she'll sit with you for hours but as soon as you stop patting/rocking/or walking she gets a little restless. Do most cats like that??? I know my parent's cats didn't even like to be picked up.
Regardless of what strange genes she has running through her, she is absolutely perfect for me!!!
