On Christmas Night we had the most loving, adorable male cat show up on our step. For the past week we have just been calling him kitty, not knowing whether or not he was going to be staying. But now, that we are aware that he is a member of the family, he needs a real name. We would like it to be a little Christmasy, saying thats when he arrived. Hes a tiger cat, so names with snow in it wont really work. If anyone has any ideas, could you please let me know. Thanks

Welcome to the site!
Wow! Santa left you the best gift!

Jingles, Claus (Claws) , Rudy (short for Rudolph) or one of the other reindeer names?

Hi, welcome to TCS!

I can't think or any better suggestions than what they came up with, so I'd choose one of what they said. Good luck with the kitty, he sounds adorable
congrats on your new little furry family member! What a great Christmas gift, huh? What a little miracle.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their ideas and input. We decided to call him Marley. As in Jacob Marley, Scrooge's business partner. It took awhile to find something that suited him, but once we found it we knew. Again thank you all for your kind welcomes, and for all your great ideas. I think Santa knew what he was doing when he left him for me. Ive never had an animal that has known me so well. Hes amazing!

Welcome to TCS

What a lucky kitty that you have decided to take him in. I can't think of anything new, but I kinda liked Nick.

My daughter got a kitten on Thanksgiving once and she named her Turkey!
I dreaded when we went to the vet having to say we are here for Turkey's appointment
