Pat, I just found this thread as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Misty!

Pat...I cannot imagine how stressful Misty's illness must be for you.
It is a blessing that she is unaware of her complicated illness so she can continue to enjoy every precious moment that she spends with you.

Oh how upsetting this must be for you! She sounds like quite the little trooper...I will keep both Misty and you in my thoughts.

Just dropping in to say I'm thinking about you.

I am still praying for a good report from the vet. Do not worry about the kidney issue. When I was in anatomy classes I learned that we get 4 times the amount of kidneys we need. So we can function just fine on 1/2 a kidney. That is why a living person can donate one kidney to someone else. The fact that Misty has one small kidney is most likely not ever going to be an issue. Certainly, once the tumor issue has been settled, they will check her out to ensure it won't affect her. But for now, you can forget about the kidney issue.

I'm so sorry to read about Misty's problems, and my heart goes out to both of you! I just HATE the word "terminal." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God we're not sure that's the case, because that means it just may not be so. And even then sometimes there's still hope, so I'll keep her in my prayers, especially Saturday, and I sure hope that because she's feeling so well it means good news coming your way!
