It really depends on the boards. TCS is probably easily 80-90% female, so are most small dog boards (I really don't know why, I know more guys with small dogs than great danes), a Planted Aquarium board I hang out on is at least 75-80% male, the 650 V-Star (a smallish cruiser motorcycle) is probably 70-75% male, go up to the 1100 forum and it's probably 90% male. OTOH, there is a "Women Who Ride" forum which is, of course, overwhelmingly female although they've lately put in a folder for the "Cabana Boys" . That's a VERY active forum which if I don't visit it daily can easily accumulate 500 unread posts. "Women Who Ride" are very chatty --- sort of like folks with cats .
