I was doing a poor job cutting onions and cut the heck out of my ring finger and was bleeding all over. I freaked out and called my mom, who rushed over. My stepdad came with her and when thye got here he laughed.. the cut wasn't really that bad! I freaked out because it was bleeding so much, but apparently that is normal. There is blood everywhere!! The amount of blood made me think I'd need stitches. They took me to Walgreens and got some bandaids and anticeptic and it still hurts like crazy, but it did stop bleeding. Shesh, all this just to make a brisket roast for DH. They felt sorry for me and helped me cut up the rest of the onions and the roast smells great! Ok, that is just a really stupid story that I am typing with one hand- moral of the story: always use a cutting board! At least my mom was happy to come over and take care of me
