Umm okay, this is going to sound dumb but does a cat's hair change as they get older? My cat is a 5 mth old medium haired domestic that gets brushed every other day and right now I feel like I have enough cat hair to make a new coat for him. My landlord is starting to complain about him shedding, but it's December and he's an indoor cat making me think he needs all the hair he can get.

Some cats can take 2-4 years for them to develope their full coat. Not sure how old your cat is.

Aren't you the lucky one
Whiskey is terrified of the blow dryer. We have hardwood flooring w/o carpeting .. so no vacuum. Oddly enough he likes to listen to the clothes dryer.

fr. coaster:
There should be less shedding during the winter.
Then I honestly can't figure out why my landlord is complaining or why all my dark clothing is slowing starting to look dingy (covered in cat hair).

Please, oh please, oh please let that not be the situation, since his litter-mates' hair is short and close to the body.
Why oh why did I fall in love w/a cottonball?!
