ouchies :(

Teufel and i were playing last night, now i know why i named him teufel
I went to give him kisses on his belly, he got angry stuck his claws into my head and rabbit kicked me in my mouth!
I have 4 scratches in my mouth, and one looks like it has a deep hole, but the worst part is that it looks like i got a lip inplant on the left side of my mouth and something shoved in my cheek!
It really hurts actually, does anyone know how to get the swelling to go down??

You could try ice, either ice cubes or a lolly.

Oh dear, I'd put some ice as first aid. Then disinfect the wound and lastly take a painkiller.

Be very careful of infection Fran Use salt water to clean the wound and yes, put some ice on it! I'm sorry Fran, I AM laughing!!

I`m tempted to say "poor kitty" here....but on second thought had better refrain....I`d sure not want you to think I had sympathy for the kitty when i laughed at you! That would`nt be very nice of me, do you think???

Bad bad kitty!!..Reilly has done something like that to me too...the best advice use warm water and salt to clean the cuts..you can even gargle it if he cut you inside your mouth..you sure wouldn't want them to get infected!

Awwww that makes me hurt just to think about it Teufel I am sure didn't mean it but do watch out for infection. Warm salt water or watered-down listerine mouthwash 1/2 & 1/2will help cleanse the wounds inside the mouth. Do use ice to get the swelling down.

Ibuprofen will help the swelling. Like everyone else said, just make sure you keep the wounds clean.

I'm sorry this happened! Makes me cringe just to think of it!

ouch. i hope you feel better soon. my fuzzy shoulder-rider is clumsy and carves my shoulders open trying to catch herself when she falls. i couldnt imagine it on the face.

what does teufel mean? i've always thought it was just a name you made up...l
