Ok, I admit it, I haven't cooked a single meal all week. We have either been going out to eat, or getting takeout.

It is a cold, rainy miserable day here, and I really feel like beef stew. I have a great recipe, but it needs to cook for 4 hours in the oven, not to mention prep time. I've been to the grocery store, so I will be starting on it in another few hours.

What is everyone else having?

Oohhh Karen, beef stew sounds great right now!

I'm not sure what we're having tonight, we haven't been too great on making good meals lately cuz we've been so busy.

I'll see what everyone else is having here and then I'll decide after that

No clue - I need some ideas.
(The only meat I eat is fish, but we had that last night).

I don't think I cooked at all last week through the weekend. We were at someone else's house for dinner practically every night. I cooked the last 3 nights though and I feel it entitles me to slack on cooking tonight

Glad to know I'm not the only one that has been eating out all week. Well eating out most of the time, but I did have a couple of nights I had ramen noodles.

I'm making spaghetti tonight if the hamburger is thawed out enough. With some yummy garlic bread. So hopefully I won't have to cook for a while.

My favorite thing lately with fish is having salmon caesar salad. It's not really a winter time type meal but it's sooooo yummy I could eat it anytime

I even have one of those Caesar salads in a bag in the fridge, so that would be great, but I had fish last night and packed fish in my and my fiancee's
lunch today. I could eat fish every day, but he gets tired of it. Hmmm... you gave me an idea though. I have some portabella mushrooms. Those would be good on the caesar too!

Well, we're traveling to my mom's in Wyoming. But the past few nights we've had homemade baked macaroni & cheese, and cheese/bean enchiladas.

I baked a really large ham on Christmas day and have lots of leftover from that but I want to freeze a good share whats left for soup and casseroles. It was my sisters last night in town and we went to Olive Garden last night. So I'll have to scrounge in the freezer to see whats available.

We had company last night and I roasted a turkey, made mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cauliflower with cheese, baked beans, biscuts and a spice cake with philly cr cheese frosting.
We are having leftovers tonight!

Right now for lunch I'm having left over Tortila Soup (don't be impressed it's Bear Creek packaged soup) but for dinner I'll probably stop at Sub Way on my way to the shelter.

I haven't cooked all week either. I'm making meat loaf tonight and then I'm making a ton of appetizers and finger foods for new years.
