Is what you feed your kitten/cat related to bad behaviour?

Hi, my kitten is nearly 5 months, and i have been giving him small amounts of wet food (felix) in the morning and dinner time, so he gets half each time of a pouch.Anyway he has been meowing for more straight after so this morning i gave him a full kitten pouch instead of half.
But since he had it he has been attacking me! He has bit me about 10 times and keeps wrapping his body round my arm or leg, i tryed to get him to play with his toys but he just kept coming back for me,
now my legs and hands are full of scratches from him.
Is this something to do with him being a bengal? Hes lovely with the kids but to me and my hubbie he just trys to attack us but playfully, but today since his meal he has been terrible.

Anyone any advice,i doubt he will belike this later as hes got his 2nd dose of injections at the vets bless him, oh just to add he can be very loving too.

Couple of things:
Our bengal kittens like to rough house right after they eat. But, they rough house with each other. They get pretty worked up too. Tearing around the place like their tails are on fire. This goes on for about 30 mins. Then they settle down.
In your case, if you've only got one bengal, you're going to have to be firm with him about the biting and scratching to get him to stop.
If you can't re-direct his energy to a cat toy instead of your arm, you'll have to punish him by leaving the room. You have to be consistant though. Everytime he goes for your arm, stop him, tell him NO or hiss at him, then re-direct. If he continues to misbehave, leave the room because playtime is over. He'll get the message that biting and scratching you, ends the fun for him.
Once again, be consistant each and everytime he does this.

I agree with that. I've noticed my cats sometimes tend to be hyperactive right after eating, too. And I agree with how to respond to it. Very good advice.
