New Year's Eve plans?

Bf has a friend over on holiday. The 3 of us are going to a friend's house for a Cajun dinner - yes folks - that's New Year's Eve in Switzerland for you
We will probably go out to see the fireworks on the lake at midnight... although it's been raining non-stop all day so they might be cancelled

Apparently there's some mixed martial arts PPV that Pete's got his heart set on watching, so we'll be ringing in '06 in our friend's basement. The good news? There's another tv, so I can watch whatever I want, we're getting take out, we're bringing some games to play (including Dance Dance Revolution, my christmas present) and it's only 2 blocks away, so we can both drink and take the heel-toe express home (I rarely indulge, and I feel I'm due for a good drunk while I'm still young enough to recover quickly lol). Happy New Year's to everyone! Be safe, don't drink and drive and you'll arrive alive!
That's a shame, Fran. We're already back home, although there are almost two hours to go till midnight. There are just too many fireworks to leave Jamie alone for long this evening. some fireworks are going off actually, i just woke up because teufel licked my face. Im about to open the champagne bottle soon..
My face really hurts though...its swelled still from teufel my mother actually realised today and called me a stupid girl.
We are going down at midnight to set off fireworks, Frankfurt looks pretty dead though hardly anyones light is on.

I'm at sister's house. Started with brunch this morning and opening of christmas gifts (niece's family couldn't get here last weekend) and then a chili supper. Right now I am listening to the results of that dish.
And in front of the fireplace!

Well I am here at work with 1 1/2 hrs to go til 2006 in Colorado. It's either going to be nuts or dead. (New job is a 24 hr nurse advice line) Tybalt and kitties are at home sleeping. Lucky them!

Ok so it is me who's confused here LOL. It is now 6:15 AM. I've been up all night because I am now working night shift. My brain and body are still adjusting....

Fwan, I work from 10 PM to 8:30 AM 4 nights a week. I picked up extra shifts on my days off this week so tomorrow will be the 7th day in a row that I've worked...zzzzzz
