Just watching a Sergio Leone marathon on TV with some TexMex-style food and trying to keep poor Tilli from being too scared of the New Year's explosives. Some bubbly at midnight.

We've had a change in plans. We live on a cul-de-sac, located at the end of a very long, steep drive, and nobody's car managed the climb today. It's raining now, and everything's freezing, so it looks like we'll be cut off from the rest of the world tomorrow. Therefore a "block party" seems to be the best bet, meaning we'll have a pot luck dinner, and move from house to house to socialize. Some idiots are already setting off fireworks. I'm going to bake a ham, and make a ton of potato salad.

We are getting a huge group together of our most lovely friends and even my mom and step-dad and are going to a local club, that is perfect for the occasion, it's called Memory Lane!! I'm really excited! And we have safety cab here, which is a bunch of cab companies volunteer to pick drunkards up from their party places and safely getting them home free of charge! It's really a neat thing!

Oh and me and 2 of my bestest friends will be glamming it up! Will post pictures soon!

I'll spend my NYE here at home. I might even be lurking on TCS. We don't usually have a lot of fireworks, but there are a few people that blow off fire crackers, so I'll try to keep my kitties calm, during that time and give each one of them a kiss.

It looks like the official word on New Year's Eve is that it'll be spent at a friend's boyfriend's house. I guess he's going to have a party. I'm not incredibly excited about it but it's something to do, I'll be with people I like, and it won't cost me anything. WOO!

Well, New Year's is one time the idiots DON'T do fireworks here, a fact for which I am eternally grateful.

I'll be working at my new job. I work 10 PM-8:30 AM 4 nights a week, and New Years Eve and Day are both double-time-and-a-half! So I am there both nights with no complaints!

You're lucky. We're heading over our neighbors' in about twenty minutes, but I think I'm going to have to come back here by 9 or 9:30 p.m.. People are already setting off fireworks, and Jamie is very nervous.
