I just found out, that someone WILL be home, to take care of the pets and I have a motel room reserved in Tombstone. I'm going to spend NYE with my best buddy, Katey. Since it's such a small town, I can have a few drinks and WALK back to the motel.

Anybody else got plans?

We're thinking about heading up to the casinos in Blackhawk. The Riviera has a fabulous buffet (including crab and prime rib
), and then we can spend the rest of the night on about $20 each on the nickel and penny slots.

Nope, not yet I don't think? I'm not the type of person that likes to go out and go to the bars, but John really wants me to go out....so we'll see. I'd be happy celebrating New Years at home with Harley!

-always good to have the driving part (or lack thereof) planned out Cindy.
I might join the guys I was ice curling with for a few drinks, but no bloody way am I going to let myself get wasted this time!

Our usual plan -- and we haven't talked about doing anything different this year -- is to have a nice dinner, late enough that we just sort of trickle down to midnight, have a glass of champagne to toast the New Year, and then toddle off to bed by about 1 am. Sometimes it includes friends, but more often it's just US.

I don't think I have ever gone "out" for New Year's Eve. This year is no different. Staying home. Joe has to work, the older boys are with their dad, so it's just me and the little guy here with Sophie, Cassie & Brynna. Maybe we'll really celebrate and break out all the catnip!

I was thinking of going out early in the evening, but will most likely bring in the New Year with my girlies here at home, maybe walking over to the ocean for a while. (Yep, I know, my wild and crazy lifestyle!)
They become quite agitated with fire works, and there will be nuts up and down the beach shooting them off at midnight.

My plans are about the same as every year. DH has to be to work at 6:45 or so the next morning, so we will be asleep. Our town has a celebration, but the one time I went I was extrordinarily boored because, well, walking around in the freezing cold, listening to bands I might enjoy now, with my 4 younger siblings was not my ideal new years! Now if I'd gone with a group of friends and been old enough to drink or something, I might have enjoyed myself. Oh well!

If I had a boyfriend I'd say....stay in and watch movies and eat crab legs and drink champagne till we explode...BUT, since I don't, I'm going out!!!

I haven't had a night out, in 2 years - I'm way overdue and need to blow off some steam.

We are having our best friends over for supper and to play cards and bring in the New Year. Nothing big....just staying home and enjoying ourselves with people we love.....can`t think of anything more fun than that.

Well this will be the first time in about...oh...6 years that I haven't had a specific person to kiss at midnight, so maybe I'll be out hunting for SOMEONE to help me out in that department! Unless Ryan wants to volunteer for the job in advance.

All I know is that I'll be spending it with a bunch of my girlfriends (and one or two of their boyfriends) SOMEWHERE in Orlando!

How could I resist volunteering for that?
Do you think you can catch a kiss blown from here all the way to Florida?

Exactly Cindy!, you make sure you start the new year with a bang!

I'm going to my boyfriends in Scotland. I catch the 3.p.m train to Inverness on friday, and on new years eve the village where he lives have a street party with a band playing until the pipers ring in the new year

All i know is that im going to wear my sexy boots!

On the other hand i have not partied since going into 2001 NYE, I was with friends, we went to a party i was 14, UNDERAGE DRINKING WOO! we were all sober by midnight, teased the other group of people, they thought we were losers for drinking at 6 pm, but by the end of the night they loved us!

I have two options this year, go to a bar with the date and get wasted... but im not keen on going back to his place that night... orr hang out with another friend that doesnt drink or really talk? I think i will just get my friend to come back so we can party!
