Now you know me, i always have my suspicious head on!, but something tells me that he wasn't out to harm either. It's strange what he did though and i'd love to know why?!.Originally Posted by sashacat421
Ma, he had the wrong house. I am certain of it. It's a gift. He is dropping something off for people whom he thinks are in great pain and need help. He does know them. It's his way of helping. There's a blue house in his life, and he thinks it's yours. He's a good man, yes, "off", but good. You have nothing to fear. I feel you're really safe (especially with China!) but he's harmless. God speaks to us in ways we understand.... maybe it's just something to think about..... if anybody on your highway needs doughnuts, it's your crew, for all you do.
Love ya!

I dunno. I read and re-read Hissy's account of it twice, and I felt so strongly in my gut and intuition that it was ok and that there was something there. Things kept surfacing in my gut and it's no surprise! Maybe the Caring Legend of Hissy is alive and well in the Northwest!Originally Posted by rosiemac

Why don`t you just do that Hissy????Originally Posted by hissy
Well it wasn't a delivery. Here, even in this podunk town, deliveries are done with vans not wheelbarrows. The pastries were given to the garbage grinder last night when Mike returned home saw all the evidence and heard the story of where they came from. Anyone who knows us, knows how many people live here. Two people do not need 25 pastries, especially when one is diabetic!
I am tempted to call the paper and ask them if they want to write a story about the donut caper, the one that really takes the cake. Maybe then, I will find out who my donuter is- until then, it remains a not so sweet mystery.
You mean that Mike met him just 2 days ago...for the first time...only spoke with him for 10 minutes...and then this guy brought all those donuts?Originally Posted by hissy
Ok the mystery is solved, but really it just gets stranger. After a phone call was received, seems a man that Mike met less than 48 hours ago- the man was walking his dog up the road and he stopped to talk to Mike briefly (under ten minutes)- came back the next day to leave us these pastries.
Ok then-
You never have a dull moment, do you?Originally Posted by hissy
Yep Linda, that is what I meant. Mike talked to him outside in the front yard for a brief 10 minutes, the guy left and the next day came over with a wheelbarrow full of pastries.I do live in the Twilight Zone
