I know you are on "pins and needles" waiting for the report from the pathologist. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Sadie and family.

Miss Sadie is well on her way to recovery!
I'll continue to send quick recovery vibes, although from the sounds of it, she won't need them for long! I have my fingers crossed that you get nothing but good news from the pathologist.

Today might be the day we receive a call from Sadie's vet with the pathologist's report.

She is feeling good enough to be really tired of her e-collar. Last night, she was very restless. This morning I cut her e-collar back some more. I think it will help her rest better. She spent a good hour before breakfast without it. I wish you could have seen her run & play with Dexter. Wonderful. I had to watch her every second because she tends to lick her sutures. Next Wed. she will have them removed & then...goodbye stupid collar.

We truly appreciate everyones thoughts & prayers for a good pathologist report. Every one of you are helping us get through this. Please continue...
As soon as we know the results...I will update the good news.

Sadie's tumor was not cancer...it was benign.

I just received a call from her vet.
The pathologist's report called it a "benign follicular tumor"... a tumor of the hair follicle.
The surgery cured it.

I am so relieved.
I will never be able to thank those of you who posted messages of prayer & support for Sadie but I will say this...

TCS has the classiest, kindest, most thoughtful people on God's green earth as members.
:

Thank you my friends.
