This is Tom, found on a lady's driveway. He weighs 81 grams and was probably born today or last night. I'm not sure why but all his little paws are swollen.

Thanks for all your warm wishes everyone. The vet said his paws could be swollen from a protein deficiency, a lack of circulation or trauma. So I just have to keep a close eye on him (as if I wasn't already! LOL). He can't hold his head up or turn over so I'm turning him every hour or so.
Poor little baby. At least if he lost his mommy, he could not be in better care now. Prayers coming for the little sweetheart.
Poor little sprite! Now he is warm and beloved...he just needs to heal and grow. Come on, little man, you can do it!

Little Tom Thumb has made it through his first night with me. I'm pretty lucky that I don't have any other foster-kittens at the moment, as he's needing pretty intensive care. I've been tube-feeding him 1.5ml every 2 hours but I found him biting his blanket before the last feed so he took about 3ml all by himself. He still can't hold his head up or turn over but he's waving his legs around in protest when I clean his little head or stimulate with a cotton ball. His paws seem a bit less swollen this morning and I gently gently massaged them with a tiny bit of Aqueous Cream (do you guys have that in the USA?). They are becoming a light pink colour instead of red, so I'm sure they're getting better.
