How do I get pee out of a mattress? :(

I just recently had a roommate move into my apartment, we had her mattress out in the dining room while we were moving things, and my 8 mo old kitti peed on her mattress.

I have been trying "Natures Miracle" It is not working.

Any helpful suggestions would be AWESOME.

I'm pretty sure my cat is having a territorial issue, but I plan to get her checked out anyways. She can be so damn moody. haha.

I would think that Natures Miracle would work..hum...I'm sure you will get some good ideas. I am suggesting that you get a fitted waterproof sheet to put around the whole matress so that if it happens again it can't soak into the mattress.

Is it the pee or the smell ur trying to get out? If its the pee, wash it with strong antibacterial soap and water, and keep it outside to dry. Then, for the smell, spray it with Vinegar and let it soak in and dry out. The smell should be gone. Youll want to get rid of the smell completely anyways cuz if its still there, the cat might go back and pee on it again. Good luck.

I used Simply Green to soak it all up and out and then later used straight hydrogen peroxide (the main ingredient in all those cleaners) to get the smell out. Hope this helps!

we used a mixture of bicarb of soda and an enzyme cleaner
