We are having the official family gettogether on New Year's Eve because that is when all the immediate family can get together. We finally found out what my niece's husband needs and it's for sale at the day after Christmas sales! I hate driving in holiday traffic! (Mom doesn't drive.)

I won't be any help. We're going out too. I'm on a mission for a tree skirt
and I need to replenish my stock of wrapping paper. I've been using the same 7-9 rolls for at least 10 years, and almost all of the rolls are empty. Finished off a couple this year, and the 4 we bought last year aren't enough to replenish me fully. So at 75% off I'll stock up!

Don't know what else we'll get, but I'm almost sure we'll just *have* to hit Best Buy for whatever Earl needed and didn't get for Christmas. Silly boys!

Alas....we fall under this category as well.....

We need all kinds of fixtures, curtains, and towels for the bathroom in our new apartment.......Johns mom gave us a gift card to Target....So yes I will definitly be taking advantage of the crazy sales tommorow........

But I also think we are all crazy.....

LOL...we finally finished up some older wrapping paper too and I am looking forward to getting new designs!

I hate the traffic, but since dh is home, and since my former boss has a wonderful sale right after Christmas each year - whole store is cat theme - ornaments, art, clothing, etc. (where to be honest I buy some gifts for next Christmas!), we have to go out.

There is noooooooooooo way you will get me out of the house tomorrow. I cant stand shopping with people on any normal day of the year. If I go out tomorrow and deal with people I guarantee I will end up in prison. I dont do well with crowds. Especially rude ones. I am in awe of anyone who goes out shopping the day after christmas and comes home still with a cheery holiday mood.

Movin' on up!
I'm afraid that I will have to venture out, too. My reason is a bit more mundane: cat food. Last weekend, WalMart didn't have a full case and now I'm almost totally out. As long as I'm there, think I'll pick up a new camera, too.

I know how you feel. I don't want to go out but hubby bought some items for me that I already had and we have to exchange them in the next couple of days (he bought them at the end of November and we have 30 days to exchange). Since he is only off today, it will be today that we brave the crowds. We also have to find a freezer because he shot a buffalo a couple of weekends ago and the butcher will be dumping our 200 lbs of meat on us soon.

I SURVIVED! We avoided the 6am and 7am crowds and went out about 8. FOund what we wanted (was getting worried because folks were coming out of the store empty handed) and took all the back roads to avoid the worst of the traffic.

Called my sister and discovered she and niece were out shopping, too. They actually enjoy it!
