I'm so excited! Hubby bought an automatic litterbox for Pandora and Sluggo. Less cleaning for me, yeah!!! I filled it up and turned it on and they couldn't resist seeing clean litter in it! It works great!

my friend had one. the only thing was the noise. do you put it somewhere in a corner or do you just get used to the loud noise it makes?

It's a littermaid. It does make noise like someone mentioned, but the funny thing is when it starts to "rake" the litter the kitties come running to watch!
They think it's fascinating. Funny cats.

My husband said he got it at Walmart and it was under $100. I think they're like $90. I think it's terrific!

DO IT!! You won't regret it! No more daily scooping. No more stinky litterbox. Just remove the disposable container every few days when it's full and replace with a new one! We have ours in the main floor bathroom, so it's nice that people don't have to look at kitty waste or smell it too!

I know, thats why Im really wanting one, cuz we are looking at getting another kitten, and I don't like having the smelly litter box in the front entry way-thats the only place that we have room for one in our apartment.
Im going to have to price them out-I wonder if they will be on sale at all today with all the big sales going on?

they may not be, because they're so popular - but it's worth looking. i love mine! & you can line the plastic receptacle with a small plastic garbage bag & that way you don't have to replace the container every time you empty the box.

You know, that's what I thought about Sluggo and Pandora. I figured it would take them a few days to get used to it. But no! They jumped in it right away and used it! And Sluggo is just obsessed with it, funniest thing I ever saw. He can be sound asleep in the next room and as soon as it turns on to clean the litter he's running to it to watch!
You can always try it and return it if it didn't work out.

They look really small to me, are they as small as the picture shows? I have 3 cats and would be afraid they wouldn't feel roomy enough in it :-D

well, Mouse was 13-14 pounds & had no difficulty. they do make an extra-large one, but it is more expensive. these are about regular litterbox size.

we had one, but it broke :/ it was nice while it lasted, but apparently the cat litter we were using at the time didn't agree with it, or we overfilled it, something.

Where my cats are
We got our girls one as an early Christmas present. They love it to pieces! They spent a lot of time running to watch it rake it out too! Then when it would finish they would get inside and sniff around again, setting it off once again in ten minutes!
Silly girls!

Here's a pic of them checking it out one time:
