Right here! :)
As our Christmas lasts untill January 6th. noone takes their tree down untill at least that day. Many take it down the next weekend after that, and others (me included) leave it a while longer....I never take mine down untill about the middle of January.
We put the tree up on December 23rd.

I took it down today. Joe would have liked to keep it up until at least New Year's, but I was DONE with chasing Sophie off it!

I prefer to not even put it up in the first place... I'm such a party pooper! I have decorated my place the way I want it, and every Christmas I have to change it??? Oh well, it "has" to be done, it wouldn't be Christmas without it. I probably would put it up even if it was only me here, and I do enjoy it once it's up, but I always dread putting it up and to get it all cleared after Chirstmas is over. I just want the place to look "normal" again. Our kids sure enjoy it, though, and this year our 1/2 yro kittens SURE enjoyed it, climbing up to the tippy top, out the branches and knocking all the decorations off! It was quite a sight! LOL We will be taking it down again shortly after new years...

I took down all of my decorations and tree Christmas night.... I just couldn't wait to get the house back to normal.
We received a lot of gifts for the house and I just wanted to get everything cleaned up and put away. I am a neat freak and clutter really gets to me. With the tree up and presents all over it was hard to relax

Maybe I am a bit OCD about it

Well, I wanted to keep ours up until at least after New Years Day... now I just don't know when I'm going to find time to take it all down and store it. Maybe this coming weekend if there's time.

I mentioned leaving it up year-round to my fiance... you know... putting little hearts on it for Valentine's day... shamrocks on it for St. Patrick's day... mostly because I'm too lazy to deal with taking it down... he just smirked at me and rolled his eyes. Oh well... I tried.

Well, tradition was that we always went with taking the tree down on Epiphany. That was, until daughter was on the way. Scheduled day for arrival was Boxing Day (Dec 26th) but she was determined to hang on. Big brother wanted the Christmas tree to still be up when baby came home so it stayed. She was eventually born on January 8th, so since that time tradition has been that we will keep the tree up until the day after her birthday.

The poll bandit is at it again. I wonder if the poll bandit knows that I know the identity of the poll bandit.
Anyway, I will admit that I take down the tree whenever I darn well feel like it...
meaning one year it stayed up until March
but hey, I am a bachelor, I kept my house clean and we still had snow! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! This season I didn't put up a tree having gone to my sister's for Christmas.
