Big-Cat-Fan's Garfield... (sorry... I'm borrowing one of your dishwasher pics)

and my JoJo...

the white chin, the dark orange stripes down the side of their faces... eerie, isn't it? how old is Garfield? I'd swear they were twins... JJ is 3 and a half (somewhere around there)

Here's a couple full body shots...

Garfield again (dishwasher pic... now I remember why i don't keep mine open)

And JoJo... (sampling the 'nip)

Both nearly solid orange sides and back, hints of stripes but not outright STRIPE... with a little fluff of white on the tail...

frightening...

Long lost twins! They're both so beautiful. Love the little white tail tips!

Wow, that is close! Another good reason to microchip. I read of someone on another board who lost a cat, and when they finally found him it took a while to be sure it was her baby! And she had already taken in another look-alike who was not her baby! (She realized it pretty quick, but didn't have the heart to get rid of the look alike!)

Wow!!! It's Garfields twin!!!!!

Now Garfield must be the evil twin and your JoJo is the sweet one right?? \\

NO but really, that is amazing!!!

And Garfield is ONLY 10 (almost) months old!!!
We bought him in the middle of May, he was then 8 weeks old, but the vet doubts it, he said more like 6 weeks old.
Anyways, so going on the fact that he was only 6 weeks old when we bought him that would make him only (almost) 10 months old!
He was very sick when we bought him. Very skinny and sickly.
So once he got over the coccidia, he just balloned into this big ol' orange lovey dovey boy!! He is a big boy.

Thank you so much for sharing pictures of JoJO and comparing them to my Garfield. Its just amazing!

JoJo... sweet? HAH!! That holy terror earned her 'bad kitty' nickname of DC very early on. She has her sweet moments... really.

I adopted JoJo from the Humane Society (or spca... can't remember now) back in Syracuse, NY in early 2002. She was 11 months old and scrawny. She was in a large cat room with about 40 other cats... most of them older and MUCH bigger, so she was not Alpha Kitty. She wasn't getting as much food as she needed. Her coat was lacking sheen and she was just so skinny. barely healthy, IMHO. She adopted me (her 'arrival' story is here), came home that day and was a freaked out little girl for weeks. I adopted Jack about 6 weeks later, hoping he'd help her out of her shell... he did, getting her into as much trouble as he got into himself (never leave a loaf of banana nut bread on the counter at my place, unless hermetically sealed... bad things happen). In the nearly 3 years since then... she's grown into the Alpha Kitty role very well, and up to 14.5 pounds. She's my Chunky Monkey... She's a real lovebug...as soon as I sit on the couch, she's waiting for my lap.

you are so welcome. looking at the dishwasher pics of Garfield made me realize how close their markings are... I had to say something. Garfield is a gorgeous boy... of course, I AM biased a bit here.

As for making sure you didn't have JoJo... trust me, when I'm at the computer, 95% of the time, she's either MEOW-ing around the apartment, or sitting on the back of the couch right behind me... I wouldn't have had to look very far.
