(If there's been a post made about this book already, I apologize for making another one!)
So I think I figured out why they publish these "Chicken Soup" books. Kleenex and Puffs MUST have a part in it.
Every time I read an animal one, I completely lose it. Today I picked up a copy of "...Cat Lover's Soul". I'm sitting here reading it and didn't even get through the FIRST story without having to go get the Kleenex box!
I finally had to put the book down cuz I needed both hands to tend to my profusely-running nose.
These stories are just flat-out beautiful. They just make me BAWL!
I don't know why I continue to torture myself like this, but man....these stories are SO worth all the blubbering and sobbing.

Have you read it?

....I'm gonna type out the story that made me cry the hardest. Please scroll down if you dare to read it....

Movin' on up!
Not being a fan of pop psychology, this is the only "Chicken Soup" book that I have read (for obvious reasons)

I am SO sorry, for your loss. MY kids make me crazy but, I can't imagine what it would be like, to lose one.

Oh, I didn't write that story that I posted - sorry for the confusion! It's a story that's in the book. I don't have kids yet...'cept my four-legged babies.

I'm reading this too at the moment. I don't know why I pick books like this, I'm just too emotional for this stuff.

The book is incredible, I know many of the authors. Please do not post the stories here, instead just buy the book. You will not be sorry.

It's called "Music-Loving Tabby" (I think...I don't have the book by me at the moment...lol!)
I just now realized that the story was deleted from here.
That's a bummer.

A pet loving friend got me this book for my birthday.
I can usually read 3 or 4 stories at bedtime and have to stop, I can't take anymore. They are either so incredibly sad or so incredibly happy. My husband wanted to know the first night if I was coming down with a cold...all the sniffling etc.

I haven't read or seen this one. But I have "Chicken Soup for the Mother and Daughter Soul" because my sister wrote one of the stories in it. I also have "Chicken Soup for the NASCAR Soul" that someone gave me as a gift.

I just finished this book and found the hardest chapter to get thru was the "rescue me" stories. The story of Bogie finding his forever home really had me sobbing pretty bad. Thankfully, it was a happy ending.
I just have such a soft spot for rescue kitties. It was a very good book.
