Our bengal cat Holly should be due her kittens any day now but she has started to behave quite strange and we're not even sure she's pregnant any more. We took her to a stud 9 weeks ago and she has done everything we expected since....put on weight, large nipples, quieter (she was calling so much we had to get her pregnant so we could get some sleep) etc. We took her to the vet a few days ago as she was sick a few times and he thought she had at least one kitten inside her. In the last few days she become very vocal again and she's started mothering our other bengal (who's about 8 months old so isn't very keen on Holly trying to drag her around by the scruff of her neck. We're beginning to wonder if she's lost the kitten or whether she was actually pregnant. We are new breeders so we are not sure if this behaviour is normal or not. Any advice/information would be greatly appreciated.

Was the breeding witnessed? She also could have had a false pregnancy.. She still could have the baby inside which could be bad at 9 weeks. She never showed signs of labor?

What did the vet say?

I'm not the most experienced yet either.

The mum is a brown spotty, who carries snow, the dad is a snow, we have another cat who is also a snow who we are going to breed with later next year. They can be seen on our site here
