Does anyone shop on there? I needed to get a last minute gift online becuz they were sold out at Toys R Us, so I saw what i needed to get online and was thinking well maybe Lonnie or someone will get him a priate ship like the one I saw online so i decided to exit out of it. So i emailed my brother to ask him what he got our nephew so i wouldn't get him the same thing. Then a few minutes ago I get a email thanking me for the order =( It won't let me cancel it. It says: We are preparing these items for shipment and this portion of your order cannot be canceled or changed.

So i'm a lil upset..

You can't cancel the order until they finish with it, but you should be able to now contact them via email and ask them to stop the shipment. Or call your credit card company and stop the payment

I live in the Seattle area, home of Amazon and they have a "hidden" customer service number here for things such as this. Hang on and I will go get it for you.

That's awesome that amazon did that.
We most of our christmas shopping on Lakeside.com this year, and some of the stuff isn't going to ship until AFTER christmas (they're one of those warehouse type of companies). I tried to cancel the ones that aren't going to ship before christmas, they wouldn't let me...they said that I would have to accept it and then return it. BLAH! Such a hassle.

I'm glad to hear that they let you cancel with no probs. They seem like a reputable company, I'd think they'd have good customer service.

It's good that they let you cancel the order. I'm a regular customer of the U.S., U.K., and German sites, and have always been pleased with the service at all three sites.

I've been extremely happy with their customer service. It's taking a bit long to get some items that I ordered, but I'm assuming that's because they aren't exactly hot sellers and they've run out. I'm glad you were able to call that number and cancel!

I've ordered from Amazon quite a bit, always without problem. I'm glad that they let you cancel this order. This is how companies build good reputations, with good customer service!

Some months later I happened to look at my bank statement and found I had been charged not only had 1 but 2 of the figureines. I tried to send them back but they said I had ordered them and refused to take them back. NOW I have 3 since I found one elsewhere.

I am glad someone was able to give you the number to them. A while ago someone else had issues with Amazon and couldn't find the number to contact them which I feel should be on their site. But as long as they fixed it right.

if i were you, i wouldn't open the items - just write 'return to sender' on the outside. that way they have to pay for the return shipping.
