So I am throwing around the idea of getting a kit for John for his B-day....well yeah it would be our cat....but he'd get it on his birthday in february......

Now its funny....in each of our last 4 residences we have gotten a cat....
and as some of you may know we are moving the 7th of january....So yeah new residence new cat...ummm why break tradition......
Plus I don't know if Poppy is going to survive being the new guy much longer........

So I tell John, and he says..."No more cats".....ummm yeah right....He's always saying I am obsessed w/ getting cats....But ummm after Emmet....John has brought the rest home.....well Doofus showed up at our door....But john bonded w/ him first...And in this past week John has almost brought home 4 different cats....I just love how they blame it on us girls....

Well anyhoo...soon after he "put his hand down"...
about not getting anymore cats...ya know what he says to me "Well you could get a flat-faced folded ear kitty"........ummm you want me to get you a Scottish Fold....How bout I just buy a yaht to....

Little flat faced kits...ecspecially folded ear kittys make him melt.....but I am more of a moggie girl myself.....

But on the most random chance one of you comes across a scottish fold, in a shealter or on the street...let me know ok....

Haha, tell John to beware, they're out there!
You have got to be kidding me....Though the one I saw didnt have a flat face or folded ears, But i understand when they say its a certain breed so people will adopt them...I would do the same thing as welll, if it meant giving a kit a good home.....

Yeah, the ones closest to your area didn't seem to really be folds, but further on down the list, there were some real folded ear cuties!

LOL, looks like you guys have a plan! a pretty good one at that! I wish you luck on your search for your scottish fold!

meanwhile I have been browsing through Petfinder too, and even though I don't live in the US or that area, I have a friend who does, and I think I have fallen in love with this little fella..

Oh gosh what a beauty he is.........

And if my thread made it so this little boy gets adopted, then it was all worth it even if I dont find a scottish fold....

You just found the one I was going to recommend to you!
Of course, if you folks decide you might want an American Curl rescue instead, you can visit the site I maintain - www.americancurlrescue.com
