Howdy, I'm a new guy.

Howdy, I joined a little while back and am just pushing all the buttons to see how they work. . I guess I don't get to have a sig. . I have 5 cats. 4 boys and a girl. They all live outside and despite what you might think they are healthy and happy. I just built our house a couple of years ago out "inthesticks" on fourteen acres of woods and got the four boys then. They were strays. As you might guess, I have no mice. My girl is close to being twenty years old. She was a stray kitten also. She has always been out side. When we had moved we tried to keep her inside for fear she might get lost in the woods but no such luck. she went out and stayed out and has no problems with the new area. I would like to get a Maine Coon but have been unsuccessful so far. I'll get one eventually.

Hi Guy! Good to have another fella on the board.
It sounds like you have an ideal place for outdoor kitties. With 14 acers the are not too likely to get to any major roads. Sounds like you must take pretty good care of them since you have an ourdoorsy girl who is 20 years old!
