I am going to have to try diagonal quarters now though. I've never done that.
Wyan.... Please let me know if that improves the taste of your sandwich.

I cant eat sandwiches....

you see when I was 5 and just started school my mother packed me sandwiches for lunch as most mothers do... I ate it, threw up and was mightly embarrassed.
I am now 31 and am still unable to eat sandwiches
every time I try it all glugs up in my mouth and I cant swallow it - that memory still haunts me.
Now toast that sandwich of put all the contents into a roll and then I am perfectly fine to eat it

I myself think this is stupid

Does anyone else have problems with having cheese on the underside of the burger instead of the top? I always thought it tasted weird, and my friends all teased me.

I'm gonna thread hijack here and say no, it's not weird that is tastes different. To me, spaghetti isn't spaghetti unless I use angel hair pasta, chili isn't chili unless it has macaroni or shell noodles, and macaroni and cheese HAS to be made out of macaroni noodles.....my ham sammiches have to have potato chips on them.
Not weird to me, but asking ME if something is weird is like asking a blonde if she understood the question.....pointless.

PS. I'm partially blonde so I can say that!

Hijack over. Now back to your regularily scheduled program, "Sammiches. To cut, or not to cut."

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
I cut my sandwiches straight across the middle in half. However, if I am making a sandwich for someone else I will cut it corner to corner in triangles as I think this makes me look posh

I don't get the no cutting thing...? sandwiches are big and all the stuff falls out, well it does on me anyway, maybe I have really small hands.

That happens to me with Brandy. I was older than 5, though.

I know, no one I know like chili with noodles....My mom says when she was younger, they didn't have much money so her chili was almost all noodles, and little chili, but I can't eat it without!

I've got one for you, Ryan. When I was a kid, I complained to my mom that I was bored with her cutting my sandwiches into triangles or rectangles. I wanted a circular sandwich. (I was a strange child, don't ask!) She obliged by putting the lid from the peanut butter on the bread, it was a good fit, and cut around it, then made me a PB&J on a circular piece of bread!

When I cut them (they don't get cut if I don't make the sandwiches) I like them diagonally cut for things like PBJ or ham& cheese. Tuna fish sandwiches I cut into 4 triangles.. grilled cheese MUST be cut diagonally or I won't eat it.

I eat PBj jam side down and any sandwich with mayo has to be eaten mayo side up.

I was brought up on the vertical cut, but I do not cut at all.

In reviewing the poll choices, Mr. Inane Question Asker, could I please have some clarification on what exactly a 'snadwich' is, because that might sway my poll choice.

A snadwich? Well...
It's like a sandwich... expect the contents are on the outside and the bread is... Okay okay... I've been caught misspelling AGAIN!

That's a lot of rules Denise. I'm impressed.

That is really cool Sue.

By the way Deb, I'm surprised you don't cut! I was sure you'd be a cutter!
