There is a possibility I will be getting a new addition to my feline family soon. My cat really needs a playmate because he is so active. I am seriously considering a Bengal because based on all the research I have done, they should play well together. Bengal traits describe my cat exactly (except liking water LOL). He came from a cat rescue about 3 months ago so he gets along well with other cats. I included his picture below.

I haven't decided when or where I will adopt yet, but more and more I really like these Bengal cats and I have heard nothing but good things about them.

The best way to add another cat to the house (besides slowly) is to get a cat that has the opposite traits of your existing cat, less competition and conflict that way.

Good luck with whatever you decide

thats probably what I will do, more and more I just cant justify the $500-$1,000 it takes to purchase a bengal. They are gorgeous cats, I just dont want to rush into anything

...my cats get along so well! They are just about as opposit as 2 cats can be (Except that they are both cats, fixed males and naughty....truly I do not think Tedy would be nearly so naughty if Toby had`nt taught him so well!)
