The PERFECT present!!!!!

I'm SO excited for christmas, because I JUST got confirmation that a present for my 10 year old niece has come through. I got her....... HILARY DUFF TICKETS! And, not just tickets, but 4th row on the floor (much love to my dad for pulling some SERIOUS clout with work connections to make this happen ). She's going to go insane when she gets them!
Oh man, I'll never make it to the weekend.....I'm going to burst with excitement!

Anyone else score their ideal gift for someone special this year?

As my parents are getting on in years and their finances are tighter every year I try to get them gift certificates for nice resturants. This way I do not add to the already bursting house and they get to go our and have a nice time on me! They love Red Lobster and The Outback, so we pick up one or two gift certificates when we go out and stash them until Christmas time. I think that if I were to give them a gift instead they would be dissappointed as they look forward to finding out if we want them to try a new resturant or if it is one of their favorites. Sometimes they will bring along guests as the cost is lowered and they can entertain again.

WOW!!! Great gift!! Even I would be excited with Hillary Duff tickets, and I'm 21, haha

I got my mom the ideal gift this year....those pictures that I had posted about before that me and my brothers got done for her in November
They came in last week and my Grandparents picked them up for me and I finally get to see them tomorrow!

We ended up getting her a 16x20 black and white photo, 2 5x7's, a collage with 3 photos in it and then I got this blanket with our photo on it as well!

They are all different poses, but they are all black & white, I cant WAIT to give it all to her!! I am about ready to burst!

We got my mum what she always wanted - a maid for the day so she can do nothing and not clean up after christmas

I got my 7 yr old cousin a princess build a bear. It's a carmel brown bear with a pink dress, wand, slippers, and crown. I really hope she likes it!!

I wish I could see her face when she opens that gift! You will definitely be her favorite aunt for a while! Or forever!

Well, the tickets were dropped off my dear old dad today, so I can finally start my wrapping. I know she'll love the present. We also got a little guitar for her twin brother, who is very interested in learning. I had originally picked one up from a toy store, but the darn thing wouldn't hold a tune (which, IMO, makes it a piece of wood, not a guitar), so I returned that one, bit the bullet and shelled out the cash for a nice little Yamaha.....at least this way he can keep the guitar for years and years.
I'm SO excited.....does anyone else think time is going WAY too slow???

Yes!

I got my s/o a sculpted dragon that is 1 in 500... and my mom's getting into ultralight backpacking... so I managed to find this book she's been looking for forever and a gift certificate to the store that she gets all her gear at. (She always says that she could spend all day in there and doesn't have enough $$)
