Cats and Allergies

I read a thread that to reduce people allergies you can try giving your cat a bath with a paper towel dampened with distilled water. Does anyone know how often this needs to be done?
I don't remember reading that. I plan on trying that on her today. I'll let you know if it works.

I think it was me that mentioned it. I was told to wipe them down once or twice a day with the distilled water - but use a washcloth - not the paper towels. You don't have to soak them but make them a little more then just lightly damp. You need the water into the fur a little.

Let me know if it helps you; the person that told me this says it works in most cases.
