TCS in 2006

TCS just turned 5 years old and continues to grow all the time. One of the things that makes this site a success is our community of loyal members. As we head into 2006, we are always thinking of ways to keep the forums fresh for both new members and our established friends.

This thread is a place where we welcome you to post up ideas of things you might like to see implemented in the forums. Although posting an idea does not guarantee that it will used, we still want to hear from you.

At the moment I can't think of any new suggestions (if I do, I'll come back to this thread ) ...but I do want to say THANK YOU for this wonderful board!!! It is clearly a huge success - very active and great fun. I definitely feel like I'm among friends when I'm here at TCS.

No great ideas from me either! I just wanted to say I think you've organized the forums really well. I also like the new one for other critters!

TCS is one of the best websites out there. I am glad I stumbled across it while surfing the net one day. I have been hooked since!


I would like to see a forum for owners of Purebreds, or cats with "papers".

Mainly because as an mommy to different breeds there are sometimes breed specific questions I have. Also for someone looking for info on what life is like with a certain breed, it would be nice to have somewhere for people to ask those questions. Something like "Breeders Corner" without the breeder part....

Different smilies!!!

I'd like the ability to create custom forum colors. I like the ones that are there already, but none of them are just purrfect (for me).

Larger size allowed for signatures File size, that is.

I like a lot of things @ ChristianForums.com You'd get some good ideas there.

If you don't change anything, TCS will still be my favorite board. I like everything about this place, it's just right. I especially like that you don't have any of the things I don't like about other boards, I.E. rep points, excessive sig sizes, post whores, etc. I love everybody here, and I don't want any of you to change, either!

I don't think I've got anything to add either, pretty much everything you could need is right here under our noses! We've got forums for health and nutrition, looking after mums-to-be and their babies, where to find the best deals on food, toys, condos.... you name it. There are strings of mods to keep us rowdies in line, a place to come and whine about your day or celebrate a success of some description, more members than I have brain cells and there's always someone who knows exactly what they're talking about - be it about life in general, tricky situations or hints and tips when it comes to cat care. There's a place to mourn/celebrate the life of a little lost soul, a place for us to post pictures, a place to caption those pictures and have a giggle.... when I think about it, I don't think there's anything this site DOESN'T have! But the most important thing is, we have over 12,000 really loving and caring people - with whom we all share one common link - no matter where in the world we've come from. If the UN needed a peacemaker, we'd be it!!

So don't change a thing - it's PURRRRRRfect just the way it is!!

This is a great board....can`t believe it is so huge and only 5 years old.
