I'm sure we've covered this before, but....

is it just me or do other people's cats wait for them to get home to use the litter box? Every day when I get home Levi goes into the box & does his business (#1 & #2). Maggie & Isaac also do this a lot, but not every day. Are they saving it for me, or just happy to see me?

My Gracie does this too - every day when I get home from work. She greets me at the door, then runs back upstairs straight to the litterbox. She's the only one of mine that does it. Not sure why!

my cats also jump in their litterboxes when i get home from work. of course, that's when their boxes get cleaned so i think they just wait because they want to go in clean boxes.

I only notice they use the litter box immediately after I clean it or sometimes before I even finish cleaning it.

Mine use it when i'm not there, but 99% of the time as soon as i scoop (twice a day) Sophie jumps on and makes sure she leaves something no matter how small

Mine head for the can opener when I get home from work. They also want to use the cat box as soon as I put fresh litter in.

I scoop mine as soon as I notice, or hear someone doing something. I havent noticed anyone doing it when I get in though, just guaranteed as soon as I put fresh litter in I'll get 2 giant presents for my hard work
