My stray cat Tuffy is a male and not fixed. I have no idea how old he is, vet tech thinks maybe 3 or 4 yrs old. Anyway the other day our 75 lb dog was laying on the bed and Tuffy decided to make babys with the dog. He climbed on her back and had ahold of the dogs fur and was scratching with his back legs like they do. The best part was the dog didn't get mad or run, she just turned her head and looked at him funny like to ask what are you doing???????? I think Tuffy has a vet stay coming up soon since I think he is finally healthy again. He also tries this with Panther, our big guy boy cat. Our girl cats won't let him near them. All the rest of our cats are fixed so no kittens to worry about.

Is this kind of stuff normal? I have had other male cats over the years and never seen them do this stuff. On the good side I have never seen him spray like other males did I had.

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
This is funny
We had 2 dogs when I was younger, the female was spayed but always tried to hump the male, she'd sometimes even get the wrong end a have a hold of his head. So so wrong.
Im not sure why they do this, but maybe cats get confused like dogs do..

In a word ... YUP. Intact male cats will attempt to breed ~anything~. It doesn't even have to be another animal ... it can be a table, the sofa, a book, the kitchen appliances, a lamp, any old thing they find laying around. *ROFL* They are truly just disgusting creatures.

You are extremely fortunate that your guy doesn't spray! My boy hoses this house down like it is on FIRE! He can also be pretty aggressive at times too.
