Hi,

Hope you can help me! I have a 3 year old Bengal called Nala, who is a lovely natured girly, but can extremley noisey on a daily basis.

Now I know Bengals are 'talkative' cats, and she can make very cute noises at times, but she also crys a lot of the time. I have ha her for 2 years and she has always been like this, but it is begining to drive me mad! I originally wanted her to be an indoor cat (we live near a fairly busy road, but we also have a park at the back of the flat), but ended up letting her out once we had had her for well over a year thinking this may be why she was making all that noise, but it did not help.

Do you think this is just the way she is, or could there be something wrong?

Thank you for your help.

First of all, bengals like/love to talk, especially if something is bothering them.
Second, is your cat spayed? A whole female will talk all day long about how she'd like to mate.
Third, if she is spayed, have you investigated why she's talking so much? She's trying to tell you something.....pay extra attention to me..play with me...I'm bored, let's do something...etc...etc.
I'd love to help you figure this out...give me some feedback.

When i lived at my parent's house, my cat, Casha (who I have had since I was four but still lives with my parents) would wake me up every night at 3am meowing like crazy, carrying around a sock in her mouth!
She was always very talkative, and i never understood why she did this, but I would just go pick her up and carry her to bed - I just got used to it. In fact, when I moved out, I kind of missed this! Your kitty is probably just wanting to be cuddled, or played with! After awhile, you'll get used to her chattering!!

Maybe she's just telling you that she loves you!
