I am NOT complaining, but I am so tired. I haven't had a chance to mail my Christmas cards (except a few business related ones), I haven't wrapped my presents for long distance friends and relatives yet

We don't have our tree yet (WAH!!!!!!!!) no decorations up. I love this time of year, this isn't like me but I am so exhausted and I can't catch up.

Between Patrick needing a great deal of care, realizing I needed to snag the shy girl who was starving in my backyard (see Frankie's thread), and exploding business (I am NOT complaining), I can't get personal stuff done.

I was up until 4 am last Sunday packing, and dh's recent long weekends (he has a bazillion weeks of unused vacation) haven't been spent doing anything holidayish or fun, but in helping me

So................am I the only one this discombubalated this year??

In the middle of it all, God keeps smacking me up side of the head with the same lesson I apparently really, really need to finally learn and learn *now*.
Sometimes I get it, and then I lose sight of the lesson and the peace that comes with understanding the message of it.

argh.

uhm...that the world does not revolve around me. When someone is crabby, or distant or unresponsive or what have you, maybe it has nothing to do with me, but they are busy, hurting, tired...fill in the blank. I jump too quickly to assume the worst (what did I do wrong, they don't care for me, etc etc...again, fill in the blank), and it just isn't always anything to do with me at all.

Simple lesson, seems to be a hard one for me to learn.

You had me so curious what "the G word" was!

I'm sorry things are so stressful for you, and hope things calm down (tho not the business aspect of it
) soon.

Pat-

Sometimes life gets away from us all. I know with me, I dread this time of year for personal reasons. I just get into a tunnel and do my own thing and cancel out all the rest. I am always glad when the holidays are over because they can be a painful time for so many.

Sometimes the simplest lessons are the ones we refuse to learn because of the fact that they are so simple.
