introducing kitties

As some of you may know I got a kitten, and the cat I already have met her, and she started hissing at her at first, and I was suprised cuz shes never been like that with ANYONE. Last night and this morning, Peaches would look at the new kitten and growl and hiss, and then started to sniff her, and lick her, but at the same time still growling and hissing, and once she even hissed and growled at the kitten until the kitten laid down on her side under peaches as peaches cleaned her all over, and sniffed her...it was really wierd. I got home from work today and Peaches wasnt even hissing or growling at the kitten as she licked and cleaned her. I caught her hissing once, but that was it....It's going really good for them

It was wierd that Peaches would be grooming the kitten and growling and hissing while doing it...its like, the kitten had to lay there while peaches cleaned her, and if the kitten so much as lifted her head to look at peaches, she would hiss and growl again lol!

Now Peaches doesnt growl at the kitten anymore

That's wonderful news!!

They play together although Peaches sometime splays too rough, she plays with Foxxy exactly how she played with her own kittens, and sometimes Foxxy cries out when Peaches hurts her and I break them apart...is Peaches actually hurting her or are they just playing?
