Tomorrow I am taking Wellington and Napoleon for their blood tests to prove rabies immunity. It's the next stage of getting them their EU passports. Ellie had to have her shot and test done twice as it didn't 'take' the first time, so send a few vibes that the boys sail through it. I won't know the result for ten days as the samples have to go to a lab in Austria. They still can't travel for three months after the test, so any delay means we are here for extra time.
I shall also ask Haris to check Wellington's breathing again. He makes funny noises, not quite a cough, not quite a wheeze, almost a throat clearing and some heavy breathing. Haris did listen before and could hear nothing but this time he may do a lung Xray as it is definitely not something that should be there.

Yes, they get a little blue book with all their details, vaccination records, picture and microchip number etc! Just like ours in fact (well, not quite - I haven't been micro-chipped! But you never know - it could come).

I have a question though, if i were to move back to Australia and take the kits with me is it the same process as yours?

Fwan, not necessarily. I think Australia still has quarantine regulations. I can't take mine back to England without 6 months' quarantine, but since I am going to live in France it is not a problem. You can find out each country's rules on their govt website, usually.

Thanks. Got them home now. Haris had to sedate them before he could take the blood! I will post separately about Wellington.
